Leptin X

Marketed (but not manufactured) by Vitamin Research Products , Leptin X is a recently released weight loss supplement that will supposedly help you reach your weight loss goals by working with your body from the inside out, regulating hormones that control hunger so you can nail that diet the first time around.
In theory, Leptin X can help you control the hormone Leptin, which will supposedly lead to better appetite control and portion sizes. Leptin X claims that with their unique combination of fatty acids and acacia gum you can shed the extra weight naturally and safely.
But can this product actually produce the weight loss results we’re looking for? We have our doubts and decided to see the research behind this product for ourselves.
Understanding Leptin
Your hypothalamus is the control center for regulating an entire hoard of hormones responsible for bodily processes, including your metabolism, energy levels, body temperature, fatigue, circadian cycles, and feelings of hunger or thirst. Leptin is one of these hormones, and it sends signals to your hypothalamus to tell your brain that you’re no longer hungry. Supposedly, the more Leptin you have, the less hungry you feel, and many people assume that Leptin is one of the real reasons behind obesity.
What Leptin X claims to do
Rather than increasing levels of Leptin (so you can trick your brain into feeling full), Leptin X actually lowers Leptin levels. Contrary to what you might think, recent research has discovered that obese people have higher levels of leptin than normal. Surprisingly, obesity is caused by a resistance to leptin, so despite all the hormones telling the brain its full, overweight people still continue to feel hungry long after they’ve eaten their recommended amount.
Leptin X will supposedly help to lower levels of leptin, so their bodies can overcome their leptin resistance and respond to regular appetite suppressants once more. Unfortunately there is little scientific evidence to support this theory.
Conclusion
Overall, Leptin X is an interesting approach to helping in the fight against obesity, but judging from its ingredients, this product won’t produce the extreme fat burning results that many people are hoping for. Without a wide variety of metabolism boosters and appetite suppressants, Leptin X lacks the ingredients it needs to be an effective product. Although Leptin X may help some consumers regulate their appetite and control those cravings, we suggest finding a product that is guaranteed to work with clinically proven ingredients.
